Coach Onua Thomas Obasi 

Coach Obasi is an English soccer player born in Birmingham, England who currently plays for the Baltimore Blast in the Major Arena Soccer League. He is a versatile player who plays left back, center back and defensive midfielder. Coach Tommy is dedicated to teaching youth soccer in a way that is enjoyable for the players and leaves them wanting more. His sessions are notorious for running over their allocated time because the kids and Tommy genuinely get lost in the fun. Tommy has a strong understanding of the game he is able to communicate and transfer knowledge to the kids in a way that is easy for them to understand. He relies on various games and activities to engage the players and make the learning process more interactive and fun. It is clear that Tommy is a coach who has a passion for soccer and enjoys working with young players to help them develop their skills and love for the game.

Coach Durim

Durim Odza 



Durim is an Albanian immigrant who arrived in the United States from the former Yugoslavia in 1994. He brings with him a lifelong passion for soccer, viewing it not just as a sport but as a catalyst for community building and personal growth. With a vision deeply rooted in accessibility and affordability, Durim has dedicated himself to creating a grassroots movement in Connecticut.

His primary focus lies in fostering a love for soccer among young players and their families. With a targeted approach toward age groups spanning 4 to 12 years old, Coach Durim aims to make the sport not only accessible but also enjoyable for every participant and their support network.

Central to his mission is the belief that soccer should be inclusive, encouraging as many players as possible to engage in the sport across various competitive levels. Coach Durim's dedication extends beyond mere coaching; it's about instilling values, nurturing talent, and creating an environment where soccer becomes a lifelong passion for all involved.

Meet Coach Edin

Coach Edin 



A recent graduate from Kaynor Tech High School, Coach Edin's journey into the world of soccer coaching began as he watched his younger brother and sister actively participating in training sessions with the Connecticut Soccer Club. Inspired by their passion for the sport and fueled by his innate enthusiasm, Coach Edin found himself drawn to the club.

His infectious passion for soccer and his personal drive made him an ideal addition to our team. Recognizing his potential, we promptly partnered him with Coach Obasi, providing him with a remarkable opportunity to gain invaluable experience and refine his coaching style.

Coach Edin's eagerness to learn and grow in the field of coaching is evident in his relentless pursuit of knowledge. He actively seeks opportunities to expand his understanding of the game and coaching techniques, always striving to enhance his skills to become a more effective mentor to young players.

Meet Coach Abe

Abraham Jimenez



Abe is currently a student at Southern Connecticut State University and also a member of the men's soccer team. Abe is a young and eager youth soccer coach who is passionate about soccer and helping young players develop. He is motivated to make a positive difference in the lives of the kids he coaches and is willing to put in the extra time and effort to ensure that players are learning and improving. Abe's patient and understanding nature allows him connect with young players in a way that helps them feel comfortable and supported. Abe's energy and enthusiasm are key to inspiring and motivating players to do their best and achieve their goals.
